DEI Self Assessment Tool
This DEI Planner & Self-Assessment is a structured planning tool designed to help agencies evaluate and strengthen their diversity, equity, inclusion, and belonging practices across key areas such as leadership commitment, agency culture, workforce equity, program accessibility, and community engagement. It was created to support agencies in gathering information for the Office of Crime Victims Advocacy Community Sexual Assault Program accreditation process, especially Standard 17, but it is also useful more broadly as a practical guide for identifying strengths, gaps, and next steps in DEI work. By prompting agencies to review policies, practices, data, training, and relationships through a racial equity lens, the tool helps organizations move beyond general intentions and create a more concrete, evidence-based plan for improvement over time.
