Most trainings are offered as live virtual sessions through Zoom, creating space for shared learning, practical discussion, and connection with others doing this work. You’ll explore what “trauma” means in everyday language, see how it influences staff behavior and team dynamics, and practice simple strategies to spot and address stress and burnout. Through real-world examples and reflection prompts, you’ll gain concrete tools to support your team, foster inclusion, and build a culture of care.

This training introduces program managers in community-based organizations to foundational skills for planning, organizing, and overseeing survivor-centered services. Participants will explore strategies to lead programs with intention and impact—developing practical approaches for team coordination, communication, and resource management. Grounded in trauma-informed principles, the module emphasizes leadership practices that promote both service quality and staff well-being within the unique context of CBOs.

This training is geared towards Advocates, Case Managers, and other service providers who work with people experiencing, or at risk of, sexual exploitation and human trafficking.  The first part of this training covers advocacy within the services and systems that clients are often navigating. The second part explores a set of trauma-informed frameworks and interventions that service providers can use to enhance engagement and advocacy skills to strengthen relationships, increase trust, and improve outcomes for people experiencing trafficking.

Stalking is a complex and often misunderstood form of abuse that intersects with sexual violence in many ways. This training equips sexual assault advocates and direct service providers in Washington State with the tools to recognize stalking behaviors, both online and in person, respond in trauma-informed ways, and support survivor safety. The training emphasizes real-world scenarios, current tech-facilitated stalking trends, and actionable guidance tailored to community-based advocacy settings.
